The inaugural vintage for the Carter Proprietary red wine is a massive effort. The grapes, Cabernet Sauvignon from the best vines selected by our winemaking team from our pristine Vineyard sources, were co-fermented with some whole clusters- the final amount of wine making barely a single barrel. The nose is explosive with a rush of cassis, mocha and violets. The dark fruits follow through on the palate with a light note of cigar tobacco and framed by firm tannins from the intensely flavored grapes and light touch of new French Oak.
