A well-known critic once described our wines as “swoon inducing.” While we’re not sure exactly where this quality originates – perhaps in the earth and sun of our low yield vineyards, or in the hands of our masterful blenders and winemakers -whatever it is, it gives Carter Cellars wines the ability to stir the passions and overwhelm the senses.
2021 Carter Cellars Spring Release
The Carter Cellars 2021 vintage possesses our signature qualities of incredible finesse and verve, alongside a deep and true representation of the vineyards from which they were sourced. These wines showcase some of the best of what Napa has to offer: delicious ripe fruit and rounded firm tannins all buttressed with balanced acidity and structure.
While most of our wines are sold out, we are releasing two new and exceptional wines from the 2021 Vintage this spring. From the Beckstoffer Bourn we have a 97 point wine with lively blue and dark fruit matched with spring flowers and spicy oak undertones. Additionally, we have crafted another Red Blend wine called, The Daze, a Merlot based wine married with Cabernet Franc from the Suscol Mountain. The Daze has a dark inky color, matched with dark red and black fruits, kirsch, lavender and savory fresh earth. The palate is full-bodied and long, supported by fine-grained tannins and loads of freshness. MORE DETAILS
